Accompanying guests will be Paolo Lavalle aboard the renowned vessel "Imperatore," a boat equipped with all comforts (bathroom, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, ice machine, and pets allowed). Paolo is an incredible character, and his presence only makes this journey more unique.
The tour will take you to the mussel and oyster farms to discover the art of mussel farming and fishing from those who have been in this profession for generations (but remember to call them "muscoli" and not "cozze" – here, "cozze" means something else).
Following the tour, there will be a brief break for a refreshing swim in the clear waters of Portovenere, and finally, an appetizer of mussels and oysters, spaghetti, and focaccia.
This is an opportunity to experience the culture of the sea, to learn and appreciate the knowledge of a fishing culture that stands the test of time. The boat excursion concludes with a tasting of authentic products directly from the producer, accompanied by excellent local wine, spritz, and Ca del Bosco, for a unique experience of our gulf.
